Are you a Practicum Student or an Associate (Psychological Associate, AMFT or ACSW) looking for a private practice clinical position in a nurturing environment with flexibility and collaboration? If so, then we may have the perfect position for you! Illuminating Psychological Services is currently looking for amazing full-time therapists to join our growing team.

Therapist Job Responsibilities: 

     • Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients. 

     • Diagnose and treat mental health disorders.

     • Create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances. 

     • Meet with patients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans, as 

       necessary.

     • Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress.

     • Involve and advise family members when appropriate. 

     • Maintain thorough and timely records of patient meetings and progress. 

     • Follow all safety protocols and maintains client confidentiality. 

     • Contribute to practice by accomplishing related tasks as needed. 

              Offices are available for face to face sessions.

Therapist Qualifications/Skills: 

     • Strong interpersonal skills

     • Excellent communication and listening skills 

     • Ability to build rapport quickly

     • Receptive to Guidance and Instruction 

     • Detail oriented       

     • Ability to communicate with compassion and empathy

     • Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks

     • Strong work ethic      

     • A heart for people

Education and Licensing Requirements: 

     • Master’s degree (MFT, MSW)

     • Registered in the state of California as: AMFT, ACSW or Psychological Associate    

     • Enrolled in Doctoral Program    

     • Practicum Eligible

     • Clinical Supervision and Administrative Support  

Compensation: 

• Our pre-licensed providers start at $35 per clinical hour.
  
• Our licensed master’s level providers start at $50 per clinical hour.
  
• Our psychologists start at $65 per clinical hour.
  

Each clinician is compensated at a lower rate for admin time. Raises and growth opportunities are possible depending on performance, retention and contribution to the team and practice.
