NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING CLIENTS
Since I was young, I have been passionate about helping others. That passion led me to the mental health field where I obtained my undergraduate in Psychology and my Masters of Social Work from Azusa Pacific University. I have been working in the mental health field for the last six years.
Upon graduation, I began my career with the community mental health population working with severe mental illness, crisis intervention and substance use treatment. I focus on the mind and body connection and how caring for physical health impacts your mental health.
Throughout the years, I provided individual and group therapy, wrote group curriculum and started a trauma yoga group. In 2019, I began working with population health and chronic disease in the primary care medical setting. I was a part of a pilot program through the state of California that provided wrap around services to individuals who were high utilizers of the Emergency Department to help create consistent care. I have also guest lectured in the Psychology and Kinesiology departments at Azusa Pacific University talking about the connection between mind and body. My areas of focus are Anxiety Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, life transitions, grief and loss. In therapy I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Trauma Yoga.
I am passionate about helping people become the best version of themselves and live to their fullest potential.
